Don't let the color fool ya...this Garnacha will knock you on your ass. Despite its lighter hue, this is a full-on red wine that packs an unexpected punch of black cherry, white pepper and subtle herbs. The tannins are soft, the oak is unassuming and the acidity is bright.

One of our favorite reds to be sure (just don't tell Tempranillo). Light in color...but nothing else. With about 40% whole-cluster fermentation (to help add depth and layering...without blending), this Garnacha can hold its own against Pinot. The wine was aged for nearly 20-months in French and American oak barrels. The final alcohol content is 14.1% by volume and a total of 117 cases were produced.
