Built as an "everyday" drinker, this blend is heavy on Tempranillo (with Zinfandel helping to round things out). Dominated by red fruit (cherry and raspberry), spice and a little vanilla. Soft tannins (from the Tempranillo) and sweet fruit (courtesy of the Zinfandel) draw out the finish.

  • Unconventional to be sure, this blend is built around two grapes that just don't hang out together. Tempranillo (which is kind of where this whole things started for us) and Zinfandel (which this region built its reputation on) are our version of a "pb&j" sammie. The wine was aged for nearly 20-months in French and American oak barrels. The final alcohol content is 14.6% by volume and a total of 96 cases were produced.
