Dark red fruit, spice and a bit of dirt pop out of the glass. The fruit carries through on the palate...and the rich dirt provides a welcome contrast. The light touch of oak along with soft tannins keep everything in balance and help to stretch out the finish. And be sure to ask about the name...

  • No fake news here...just a super cool, "old-school Lodi" blend of Zinfandel and Carignane. The name tells a story...just not the one you might expect. Sourced from the same vineyard (Kaden-Gene), this blend (the kaden-gene blend...or kgb) pays homage to a place - and more imprtantly - the people behind that place. It just so happens that it's also tied to something a little different! But since we're sarcastic...we opted to lean in to the thing...like really lean in. The final alcohol content is 14.8% by volume and a total of 47 cases were produced.
